David Embury, the Fine Art of Mixing Drinks, 1948

Ingredients:

  • 2 parts Gooderham & Worts ™
  • ¼ part Fernet Branca
  • ¼ part Demerara Syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Method:

Combine all ingredients in mixing glass, add ice and stir. Strain up in chilled glass. Squeeze zest across drink, give it a twist and place it in drink.
